My Last Day at Joyful Noise for the Summer

Today was my last day at Joyful Noise for the summer. We put on a program for our guests. Here are some pictures from it.

Then I got to go on the stage and I gave my teacher a big hug!

We walked off stage and took a class picture too.

Then we went back to my classroom and took this picture with Mrs. Auer and Mrs. Anderson.

We also took these pictures with Grandma Diane and Grandpa Tommy. One is silly and one is serious. Can you tell which is which?

Field Day! @ Weaver Lake

Today was also my Field Day. Like Cameron's, it really is a chance to run around. Daddy came to watch my field day. We started our field day in the gym. First we played with a big parachute and did some running and tagging games.

Then, we went to the other gym and had an obstacle course. Here I am starting to run the course, getting ready to jump over one obstacle and under another.

Then we had to sit on little scooters and scoot.

Then we had to bounce the ball five times.

Then we finally had to sit on the circle to end the race.

We also went outside and did some racing too. My favorite was the 50 yard dash.

UPDATE: Here is a picture of me with the ribbon that I won!

Field Day! @ Joyful Noise

Today was my field day. That means, we go outside and run around and have fun. Mommy even came and helped run the events.

Here I am waiting in line.

Here I am running in the race.

Now, I am racing my tractor.

I'm not sure what I was doing with my tongue here.

Finally, here is my teacher, Mrs. Auer, in the sack race. She rocked!

A Visit from Hayden

Hayden came to visit this past weekend. Here is a funny picture of her eating a cupcake. It sort of left a cupcake beard on her.

Cameron's Fieldtrip: Como Park Zoo

I went on a fieldtrip today too, just like Ben! Instead of going to the farm, I went to the zoo and instead of Mommy coming with me, Daddy did!

Daddy took me and my friend Caden around the zoo. Here we are on the big tortoise, just like Ben and Nathan last year.

Then we saw lots of animals, like lions, zebras, and giraffes.

By the end, we were pretty tired. Well, I was anyhow.

Ben's Fieldtrip: Oliver Kelly Farm

Today, my kindergarten class went to Oliver Kelly Farm to see how people farmed in the old days. Mommy chaperoned!

Here, a lady told us what things were like back then.

Then, we went outside.

I knew the answer!

It was a fun day at the farm!

Time, Time, Time

We are learning to tell time in school, using real, old fashioned clocks with hands and everything.

Clifford, the BIG Red Dog

We only have a few weeks of school left, and things are starting to slow down. We read a bunch of Clifford stories yesterday, and I made this big, red picture of Clifford.

Epic Battle of Good vs. Evil

We had an epic battle of good versus Darth Vader in the back yard.

In the end, Darth Vader had to go potty, so I won.

Weaver Lake Art Expo

As many of you know, my school is closing thanks to our school board's inability to manage a budget and the evil doings of our superintendent. As a good way to blow all of the remaining PST money, there was a hot dog dinner and an art expo tonight.

Here was my submission. Many of you might remember it as my diorama from Christmas break.

My friends Jack and Samantha had their drawings in the show as well.

We also got to walk around the school and see lots art that different classrooms had made, like these.

One Dog Canoe

Today in school, we read a story about a one dog canoe and then we made a picture. Here is mine, plus the dragonfly I made.
