Our Trip to Fargo

We have never been to North Dakota.  We decided it was time to fix that.

We stayed at a nice hotel that had a warm pool.

We went to the big Scheel's and rode the ferris wheel and raced in the NASCAR simulator.

We went to the Fargo Air Museum and saw planes and flew helicopters.

We also went to the Plains Art Museum and saw some nice works of art.

Our Third Annual Friday of Memorial Day Weekend Lunch at Pittsburgh Blue

Every Friday of Memorial Day Weekend, Mom, Dad, and I head to Pittsburgh Blue for lunch! We don't really plan it, it just sort of works out.

Box Lacrosse Playoffs!

As usual, we lost in the first round of playoffs to a team that we had previously beaten in the regular season.  Sigh.

My Last Day of Preschool (for the year...)

Today was my last day of preschool, at least for this year.  We had a little program and an ice cream social to celebrate!

JA Biz Town

My school had its' annual fieldtrip to JA Biz Town today.  I was the city attorney.  I had to approve all of the loan and rental agreements and solve two liability cases.  It was a great day!

Lacrosse Clinic with the Minnesota Swarm

My neighbor Wyatt and I went to a lacrosse clinic with players from the Minnesota Swarm today.  I won a shooting competition and got Ryan Benesch's lacrosse stick!  He is my favorite Swarm player.

Wyatt won this faceoff, but then broke his arm. :(

My Preschool Had An Art Show...

We have been studying different artists in preschool and doing different types of art each week.  At the end of the month, we had an art show!

Karate Cup - April 2013 Edition

I competed in the All American Karate Cup tournament today.  I tied for 1st in sparring, won a mega team competition, came in 2nd in another, and 4th in my individual forms!  All in all, a good day.

Math Masters, Indeed

Kids from my school competed in the 5th grade Math Masters competition today.  We won the district team competition and I came in 6th in the individual competition.

UPDATE:  We recently found out that we actually won the entire state!

Book Bowl Champions!

My team won our school district's 5th grade book bowl competition tonight!  We had to read a bunch of books that were nominated for the Maude Hart Lovelace award and answer three rounds of questions about them.  Each elementary school had a competition - we won our school and represented Kimberly Lane at the districts, and then we won the districts!
