My Last Soccer Game

Today was my last soccer game. No make ups here, so this really is the last one. Like t-ball, we played the parents. We totally beat them, 9 to 1.

I played defense most of the game.

So did Mommy.

We took water breaks together.

In the end, we all shook hands.

I also got my certificate.

My Last T-Ball Game (Not Really)

Tonight was supposed to be my last t-ball game, but it really isn't because we have a rain make up on Monday night. Anyhow, here is my whole team, together again after our split squad matches.

We played the parents tonight, and there was a lot of them. There's Daddy, covering second with his friend Tim.

I hit pretty well tonight. Here I am running off to first after hitting the ball.

When I was in the field, I was generally around second base.

When Daddy batted, he managed to get on base as well, although he was tagged out at second to make way for coach Emily to hit.

In the second inning, Daddy brought Cameron in for relief at second.

I hit the ball right to them and Cameron ran over to try to get me out, but I was safe.

Cameron and Daddy even led the parents high-five line.

Then we all got together for one last team cheer. Not really though, I'm sure we'll do another one on Monday.

My 3rd Soccer Game

Today we played the Red Fireballs in soccer. Here they are.

And here we are, the Blue Dolphins.

I played goalie a lot and it was a little boring, so I leaned against the pole.

We lost 2-0, but I had a good cheering section.

Camping with Grandpa

As you know from Ben's t-ball game coverage, Grandpa Walter, Grandma Jan, Aunt Michelle and Hayden are visiting, in addition to Grandma Diane. Grandpa Walter, Ben and I had a campout in the basement. It was lots of fun.

My 2nd T-Ball Game

Tonight was my second t-ball game (I was supposed to have one on Wednesday and it was rained out!). We played the Green Giants (Ho, Ho, Ho was their team cheer). Everyone was here to watch the action - Grandma Diane, Grandma Jan, Grandpa Walter, Aunt Michelle and Hayden!

Here are the introductions.

Here I am leading off the game with a hit! I also scored the first run of the game.

I started off playing second.

Even Hayden had a great time!

My 2nd Soccer Game

Yesterday, we played the Crimson Dragons in soccer. We lost again, but the game was at a way different time and we only had six kids show up.

Here we are getting ready for introductions.

Here we all are in a big scrum. I just kicked the ball.

Here are the other team's defenders. They were playing ring around the rosie while they were waiting for the action to return to their side of the field.

I am hopeful that we'll go on to victory on Tuesday!

Sprinkler Time

It was really hot here in the Twin Cities today, so we ran through the sprinklers before going to shower and bed.

My First Soccer Game

Today was my first soccer game. The "Dolphins" (that's us) lost 3-1 to the "Storm Clouds."

Here we are during introductions.

I played goalie a lot. Please note that all of the goals against us were scored when someone else was playing goalie.

My First T-Ball Game

Tonight was my first t-ball game. It was a classic matchup of the Cheetahs (that's our team) versus the Bulldogs. We were a split squad tonight, and apparently not all of our team found the field (?).

We started the evening with introductions, just like at the Metrodome!

On my first at bat, I got a hit!

Then I made it to second and gave the crowd a big wave.

It was easy sailing to third...

And then I scored the first run of the game!

Cameron conducted business on his cell phone the whole time.

Officially, the game was a "tie," but Daddy stopped and got us McDonald's treats anyhow.

Farmin'

On Saturday morning, I helped Papa Jim do the chores. He let me drive the tractor.

Then, I helped Uncle Jayson fix the pond (from the tractor).

JJ The Cow

We visited Aunt Michelle and Uncle Jayson last weekend for the Reemtsma family reunion and we got to meet JJ the Cow. She was a late comer to the farm.

I thought she was cute from a distance.

When we got closer, we were a little stand-offish at first.

Then, Papa Jim let Ben and I feed her.

After that, we were right up in the action with her.

A Visit from Grandma Jan and Grandpa Walter

Grandma Jan and Grandpa Walter came to visit so that Mom and Dad could go to a doctor's appointment with me, but without Cameron. Later in the day, Cameron and I helped Grandpa Walter finish his soda.

Our Two Hole Golf Course

We got a new golf set yesterday (Mommy found a great one at Walgreen's), as our old set got broken by a not-so-well behaved kid at church last week. Daddy mowed a two hole golf course in the lawn for us and we hit the links.
