Joyful Noise School Rules Train

I made this little choo-choo train today at school. We did this craft to learn the three rules of my new pre-school, Joyful Noise.

My First Day of School - 2006

It was my first day of school at Joyful Noise, and I didn't want to go. I wasn't going to cooperate with Daddy while he tried to take this picture of me either.

Eventually, I turned around so that Daddy could snap this picture of me, my backpack and my Cars The Movie folders.

Then Daddy posed me just for this picture.

Then I made him hold all of my stuff for this one.

And then finally, we had to have a crazy action picture.

A Cold Weekend, Relatively Speaking

It was really cold here this weekend, so we snuggled with Mommy under a throw to stay warm.

Headphones with Wires

Tonight, I discovered that headphones sometimes have wires. I had previously thought that all headphones were wireless, like the ones we have for watching DVDs in the Volvo.

Daddy was working on our CD player and I got to listen to the Cars The Movie story CD in it.

Here I am again with these crazy, wired headphones on.

Pictures from My Surgery

As you already know, I had surgery on my head today. It was my second surgery of the year (I had ear tubes in February). This time, the doctor removed a mole that was growing on my head and was changing strange colors.

Here is a picture of me getting ready to go into the OR. I had snazzy yellow surgical PJs on.

Here is another pictures of me in my PJs.

When I got home, I had a small lunch and played with my new toys and my new Thomas pillow.

It's good to have a soft pillow, because my head hurts!

Surgery on my Head

Today was my surgery on my head to remove the little mole that got bigger. Daddy will help me post some pictures later, but for now, know that I am okay.

Labor Day at Crosswinds

Tonight, we celebrated Labor Day by going to the new CrossWinds park. It's not that the park is new, it's that the playground equipment is new.

Here I am on the top by the bridge.

Here is Cameron, coming down a slide.

Here I am, hanging from a monkey bar.

Here is Cameron being silly on the swings.

Daddy tried to take pictures of the two of us. Here are some of the nicer (and funnier) ones.

Ben

PS: My baby brother has surgery tomorrow at 11am CDT. We will let you know how it goes.

The Pink Flamingo

Last night, we went to the Murphy's Pink Flamingo party. It was a lot of fun, but as you can see, I got bit by a lot of bugs.

My brother fell on the swing set and got a fat lip that bled a lot. I think I had more fun than him, despite the bug bites.

Black and White Movies

Yesterday, Mommy was watching a black and white movie on TV. I had never seen one before, but I was pretty sure that they filmed it in color and then made it black and white on their computer, just like Daddy does with some of our pictures on the computer. Black and white movies are wierd.

Trespassing!

While we were learning to ride our bikes, we went up to walk on the hill by our house. They put up all of these fancy "no trespassing" signs, so Daddy took our picture next to one.

Riding Bikes

Last weekend, my brother finally learned how to ride his bike. Daddy took lots of video of him riding his bike, but is having trouble posting it. Here is a picture of me on my bike to tide you over.

Our Bunny Den

The other day, Daddy noticed that there was a big hole dug in our backyard. When we all went to investigate, we found a bunny den that had four little bunnies in it.

Our New Driveway

It was an exciting week at our house. First, we had a new driveway apron put on and our driveway sealcoated.

Here is an example of when they had the driveway torn up. They also tore up the walkway to our front porch.

We were very keen on watching the action. Here is a picture of me looking out the front window.

Eventually, my baby brother came and pushed me out of the way so that he could watch.

My Comments on Pluto's Demotion

When I heard the news I asked Daddy, "That's just a joke, right?"

Twins Lose 5-0 / Sassy Boy at the Ballpark

Last night, we went to the Twins game. Before we left, I was cute and cuddly.

Here is a picture of me being cute and cuddly in my brother's car seat.

Here is a picture of my brother at the game. He was actually watching the game and trying to learn how to tell a ball from a strike.

Here I am at the game. As you can see, I was hellbent on being a sassy young man, which I was.

Needless to say, we had to leave in the 5th inning and the Twins lost 5-0 anyhow.

Reemtsma Family Vacation 2006

We just got back from Reemtsma Family Vacation (RFV) 2006. This year, we went to Kansas City. Kansas City is in a state called Missouri. Neither Cameron nor I had been to Missouri before, so we rang it up as a new state. On the first full day of vacation, we went to a place called Worlds of Fun. It's like Valley Fair, only a little bit bigger.

Here is a picture of me, Cameron and Kali on the train in Camp Snoopy.

Here is a picture of Grandpa Walter when it started to sprinkle.

When it was done raining, guess who came to visit the kids at Camp Snoopy. If you guessed Snoopy, you're right!

Snoopy also visited with Cousin Nicholas. Look at how big he is getting!

We went on lots of fun rides, like this roller coaster...

And these dune buggies...

And this boat.

The next day, we went to a place called Oceans of Fun. It's right next to Worlds of Fun. We couldn't take a lot of pictures because there was a lot of water, but Daddy did take this picture of my favorite part of the park. It was called Paradise Falls, and there was a lot of water slides that I could go down and there was water every where. It was really fun!

Today, we can home and unpacked!

Down on the Farm (Before the Vacation)

Daddy was really busy at work last week, so prior to going on the Reemtsma Family Vacation (the RFV, as we call it), Mommy, Ben and I went down to the farm to hang out with Aunt Michelle and Uncle Jayson.

One of the fun things that I got to do was ride with Uncle Jayson in his semi! He doesn't have an air bag in the front, so we strapped my car seat in the front seat and I went on a long drive with him!

I also drove around the farm on the four wheeler with Aunt Michelle.

For dinner on Saturday, we picked our own sweet corn.

We also fed some to the cows as a "science experiment." It was really neat.

New Haircuts

Here is another grainy picture from the webcam. The only reason we posted it is that you can see our new haircuts really good.

My Shorts

Here is a cute picture of me in my new shorts. They are a size too big, we have to double up the waist and they still come down to my knees, but I really like them.

The Parking Garage

Cameron and I built a big garage for all of our cars and planes the other day.

Here is a close up of the garage. I did most of the decorating myself.

Here is Cameron trying to find space in the garage for his semi.

Speaking of cars parked in the garage, here is a picture of me in my new Cars PJs. I wear these long sleeved, long pants PJs, even though it is regularly near 100 degrees, because I love Cars so much.

Ben
