My First Birthday!
Today is my 1st birthday and one of my first presents was this ribbon.
Actually, it was the ribbon on this package that had a teddy bear in it. My big brother helped me open the package, even though he was sick (that's why he wore his PJs all day). He feels better now.
One of my other presents was this adirondack chair. I can barely pronounce it, but I like sitting in it, especially when my ribbon comes too.
The other present I opened today was from my cousins, Murray and Ira. They are cats who live in New York. They really know me well, because they got me this neat cell phone that you can record a message on and play it back. My Mommy, Daddy and big brother Ben all recorded me a message that says that they love me and that I should have a happy birthday!
I can't wait until my party on Saturday!

Fish Lips
Here is a picture of me making fish lips. My Daddy thinks it's really funny when I make this face, so here it.

Cameron
PS: This was right after my first ever Chips Ahoy dunking lesson. Daddy and Ben taught me how to dunk cookies in milk. I really like them this way, but they're messy!
Geotrax Lighthouse
As part of the Toys R Us trip that Cameron referred to earlier, I got this Geotrax Lighthouse. If you were on the lookout for it for me, please take it off your list.
Here's a good picture of Cameron playing with it (and holding his balloon).
And to ensure that the record shows that I'm a good sharer, here's another picture of Cameron playing with it.

Ben
A Pre-Birthday Visit to Toys R Us
We went to Toys R Us yesterday to redeem a coupon from the birthday card they sent me. It was for a special gift. The special gift turned out to be a balloon and a birthday crown.
The lady behind the counter was really smart, so she gave us two balloons. One for me and for my brother.
I don't like to wear the crown, but here is a picture of my big brother modeling his for you.

A 747!
This is the British Airways 747-400 that my Daddy took to London. He wasn't supposed to get us any souvenirs, so all I wanted was a picture of the airplane he flew on.

My First Haircut
I got my first haircut today. As a reminder, here's what I looked like with my long, "hippy" hair (as my Daddy puts it).
Here we are at Kid's Hair in Maple Grove, Minnesota, where we live, early in the haircut. This is also my first lollipop ever.
Eventually, Mommy gave me her cell phone so that I would stop crying.
After a quick stop at Byerly's, here's a picture of us back home. Ben was holding my head so that I wouldn't turn it and that Daddy could get a good picture. Daddy yelled at him, as he's not supposed to hold my head like that. You'll also see that he got a kid's hair sticker too, even though he didn't get a haircut today.
Here's a good picture of me and my big brother and my new hair cut.

Week 3 of Planes, Trains and Automobiles
During yesterday's Planes, Trains and Automobiles class, we spent a lot of time talking about boats. In fact, we painted a tug boat picture with water colors and we glued little fish onto a big fish. We also got to do sponge painting, but I pressed a little too hard on the sponges.
Next week, which is our last week, we are going to talk about trains and a bunch of other stuff.

Ben

It was a rainy day in Maple Grove
It was a rainy day in Maple Grove, Minnesota, where we live.
I spent most of the day playing with the little broom.
While Ben spent his time eating Ritz dinosaur crackers, which are the new big hit in our house.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles: Spaceships?
These were the projects that we made from yesterday's edition of Planes, Trains and Automobiles. The topic was about spaceships and we made this rocket and this star wand.

Pots and Pans
My big brother and I discovered the pots and pans cupboard the other day, and we dragged everything out to play with them. It was fun to have Ben show me what everything was and how it all worked.

Egg Hunters
We had another Easter Egg Hunt with Mom's Club. It was after Easter, but that didn't make it any less fun. Next year, Cameron will get to run all over with me and find eggs too!

Itsy Bitsy Spider
This is my project from class today. We learned about spiders and got to draw this one. We are going to learn more about animals and the rain forest soon!

Stars, stars, stars
It occurred to me that I haven't posted a picture of my project from last week's class yet, so here it is. We learned all about stars and even got to paint some.

Science Fair Trip
We went to Ames, Iowa to see Grandpa Walter be inducted into the Science Fair Hall of Fame on Saturday. It was fun. We even got to stay at a hotel with all of my cousins and swim in the pool. Here's a picture of him up on stage accepting his award.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles
Daddy and I are attending a new class on Saturdays where we learn about planes, trains and automobiles. Today, we learned mostly cars and buses. We also had a lot of play time. We made these projects: a car, another car, a bus and a bookmark!
Next week, we learn about spaceships!

11 months!
Here I am at 11 months (well, it's really a few days later). I'm bigger and heavier than ever. And, I won't sit still for Daddy to take the picture anymore.
Love,
Cameron
