Halloween 2006

As many of you know, I was Sheriff Woody for the third year in a row. Cameron changed costumes from the lion last year, to being Thomas the Tank Engine this year. Check out the monster Pixie Sticks the lady behind us gave out.

When we got back from trick or treating, we started to mess around with Daddy's costume (the nail through the head gag). I also had my first ever (regular sized) Pixie Stick.

Cameron starting sorting his candy on his own, for fun. Here, you can see that he has all of his Nerds lined up and is working on his Kit Kats.

Another funny part of Daddy's costume was this fake mustache that he let me try on.

Then Cameron got a hold of it and tried it on too, but everyone thought he looked like a bad movie star from the 70s.

Either way, we had lots of fun.

Halloween 2006: Our House

Here is our house decorated for Halloween. It was really cold this year, so we only put up half of our decorations.

Here's the same look with the flash off.

The spooky archway was a new addition this year.

School Project: Pipe Cleaner Spider

Here is the spider I made out of pipe cleaners during my pumpkin party at school. I had an awesome time at the party. If you call us, don't ask me about it unless you have a solid 20-30 minutes to hear about it all. It was really, really neat!

Two and a Half!

On Saturday, I turned two and a half.

I am much bigger than Max now.

In fact, I am gaining rapidly on my big brother as well.

Here is a cute picture of me hugging Max.

Then Mommy got in on the action and hugged me and Max.

Here is another cute picture of us together.

I Slept Where I Fell

On Thursday, I was so tired from playing at the maze that I just layed down in the middle of the house and fell asleep. I was so tired, I didn't even notice that my face was half on the tile and half of the carpet.

Samuel and my Quilt

At Wednesday night church, we are learning about Samuel. We made this quilt, which is like the quilt that Samuel was sleeping under when God was trying to speak to him.

Here is a funny picture of me sleeping under the quilt.

When I was showing the quilt to Daddy this morning, my brother wanted to show us his blanket.

And here he is laying under his blanket too.

My School Field Trip

We went on a field trip to Oliver Kelly Farm at my school yesterday.

Here is the bus that we rode on.

Here I am, ready to go. We learned all about different kinds of animals and how farming used to occur in the days before combines and electricity.

School Project: A Pumpkin and the Letter G

On Monday, we made this pumpkin in school. It is clear plastic in the middle, so it looks really cool.

We are also focusing on the letter G this week, so here is my letter that I made with paint dobbers.

School Projects: It's MEA Weekend

Neither of us have any school projects to share today, as it is MEA weekend. That's when parents scramble to find a way to have someone watch their kids every October as the teachers all take the weekend off, or something like that.

The Halloween Parade

We went to a Halloween Parade on Thursday. It was a lot of fun. We got all dressed up and then paraded by a lot of people in a place that was for older people who couldn't remember things so well.

I was Sheriff Woody again. Cameron wouldn't wear his costume, so you'll just have to wait to see what he is going to be.

At the end of the parade, they served us punch and cookies. It was fun.

In need of a haircut

I can finally go get a haircut tomorrow, as my last stitch came out of my head the other day. As you can see, I really need one.

As you can also see, I got a black eye on my face when "my cheek fell down the stairs" last weekend.

It was a beautiful day yesterday, so we went to the park to fly kites.

Here is a picture of me flying my kite.

Here is a picture of me, Mommy and Ben flying our kites.

My Pizza and Cookie Dough Fundraiser

As many of you now know, my school, Joyful Noise, is having a fund raiser for field trips, equipment and guest speakers. We are selling pizza kits and cookie dough tubs. You can see all of the great stuff you can buy by clicking here. Please send my Mommy or Daddy an email and let them know how much of what kind of stuff you want. We'll order it for you and then when you come visit us next, we can make the pizzas or the cookies together.

I need your orders by October 27. Thanks for your support.

School Project: A Ball Made by a Ball

It's sports week at school, so I made this ball by rolling a golf ball around in paint and then onto this paper. Tomorrow, I am wearing my Johan Santana jersey to school, even though he gave up two runs in the Twins playoff operning loss today.
