Daddy took us to see Star Wars: The Clone Wars last weekend. It is a cartoon that is really designed as a lead into the animated series that will premier on Cartoon Network later this fall. We read the chapter book before hand, so we had a pretty good idea what the story was. Here is a sampling of our reactions leaving the movie theater:
"It was awesome."
"Can we go buy the DVD?"
"When will it be out on DVD?"
"Can we go see it again?"
"I think Mommy would really like it."
Daddy said something that the animation wasn't all that great, but I think he liked it anyhow, as he's a Star Wars nerd. He also mentioned that some other critics didn't like it due to something called a lack of character development, but Daddy pointed out that we've known these characters our entire lives, so how much more did we really need to know about them? Let's not forget it's a cartoon aimed at introducing the under 10 set to Star Wars, ok?
Anyhow, we're really looking forward to the TV show. In the meantime, Cameron made some characters out of paper. Here is Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Here is Ventress. She is a new character in the Clone Wars.
Here is an ewok. While not in the Clone Wars, he still loves them.

VBS@Northwood: Outrigger Island
Sorry for the delay in getting our most recent adventures out to you all, but we have been quite busy this August. First, we spent a lot of time early in the month down on the farm. Second, we spent the second week at vacation bible school.
The theme was Outrigger Island: Living God's Unshakeable Truth. It was really fun. Here is a picture of us on the last day with our ukuleles. Actually, here are three pictures of us, as it too a lot of time to get Cameron to look at the Cameron.
Here is a photo of all of the crafts and projects we made that week.
Here is a picture of the final, family night presentation. It was really fun!

Go Red Wings!
Today, Aunty Kate sent us some Red Wings gear. Despite the fact that we live in the "State of Hockey," we're Red Wings boys.
