ValleyFair 2006

Today, we went to ValleyFair for my Daddy's company picnic. It was lots of fun.



Here is a fun picture of when we went on the "Mild Thing," which is not to be confused with the "Wild Thing," which is a really big roller coaster.

Swim Lessons

We started swim lessons this week. I go swimming with Daddy.



Ben goes with Mr. Tim and two other kids.



I learned how to kick while floating on a floaty bar.



Ben sometimes gets to swim across the pool in an inner tube. Both of us have lots of fun and sleep late the next morning.

I Am a Robot

The other day my baby brother and I decorated this diaper box and I turned it into a robot costume. I pulled a bag out of the cupboard for my head and then started to talk like a robot too. I might be a robot for Halloween.

The Soccer Match

Daddy and I played some serious soccer on Sunday afternoon.



In some places, they call soccer "football."



That's really confusing, because I call soccer soccer and football football.

Joseph's Dream Coat

My Rocket Racer

My Aunty Jen is hanging out today at a festival with the people from the Rocket Racing League. I made a rocket racer out of tinker toys after we saw a DVD she sent us. It was really neat.

My First Day of School

Today was my first day of pre-school. I go once a week and spend part of the time with Mommy.

My Head

We had a follow up doctor appointment earlier today and it turns out that my head is all healed up. There are a few stitches to fall out yet, but I am good to go.

The lab results also came back and I do NOT have skin cancer. It was just a mole.

The best part of the whole deal is that I got to go to Boston Market for lunch just before my appointment and had a big cookie.

My First Day of School - 2006

It was my first day of school at Joyful Noise, and I didn't want to go. I wasn't going to cooperate with Daddy while he tried to take this picture of me either.



Eventually, I turned around so that Daddy could snap this picture of me, my backpack and my Cars The Movie folders.



Then Daddy posed me just for this picture.



Then I made him hold all of my stuff for this one.

A Cold Weekend, Relatively Speaking

It was really cold here this weekend, so we snuggled with Mommy under a throw to stay warm.

Headphones with Wires

Tonight, I discovered that headphones sometimes have wires. I had previously thought that all headphones were wireless, like the ones we have for watching DVDs in the Volvo.



Daddy was working on our CD player and I got to listen to the Cars The Movie story CD in it.

Pictures from My Surgery

As you already know, I had surgery on my head today. It was my second surgery of the year (I had ear tubes in February). This time, the doctor removed a mole that was growing on my head and was changing strange colors.


Here is a picture of me getting ready to go into the OR. I had snazzy yellow surgical PJs on.

When I got home, I had a small lunch and played with my new toys and my new Thomas pillow.


It's good to have a soft pillow, because my head hurts!

Labor Day at Crosswinds

Tonight, we celebrated Labor Day by going to the new CrossWinds park. It's not that the park is new, it's that the playground equipment is new.
