Bomb Pops!

Again with the food theme, I had my first solo bomb pop tonight. I did pretty good with it.

My brother Ben is a pro at eating bomb pops, but his mouth was still very red.

Summertime = Bathtime

You can always tell it is summer when Cameron and I have to take more than one bath a day. Yes, here is our second of the day. The first we got because we were all sticky from raspberry preserves from breakfast and the second because we got all dirty playing in the sprinkler our front.

Reemtsma Family Reunion

We just got back from the Reemtsma family reunion. This was the first one I had ever been to, so I got dressed up in my best Hawaiian shirt.

It was out at my Aunt Michelle's farm. Everyone had a good time there. Here's a picture of Ben and Uncle Jayson. Uncle Jayson had Ben's hat on. That was silly.

Here's a picture of the scenery as the party wore down.

Our Trip to the Sculpture Garden

This morning, after the Krispy Kremes, we went to the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. This is the cherry and spoon bridge. It was spraying water out of the top!

Here I am in the conservatory in front of the big glass fish.

And here is my baby brother in the conservatory too!

Here is me and my Mommy in front of a crazy wooden horse sculpture.

The sculpture garden is a joint venture of the Minneapolis Parks Board and the Walker Art Museum (that's the Walker there). We went in and saw some of the art. It really looks a lot like the messes that Cameron and I make at home sometimes. At home, we would have to clean it up, but at the Walker, we couldn't even touch anything.

Here's a picture of me in front of Prometheus and the vulture, whoever Prometheus is.

And here's a picture of me in front of the scooper part of a big scoop.

And finally, here is my and my brother under a crazy thing held up by columns. It was a fun day!

Krispy Kreme and the 4th of July

It's a 4th of July tradition in our house to get Krispy Kreme donuts and this weekend was no exception. This time, we also got crazy Krispy Kreme hats!

Here is my traditional chocolate glazed with red, white and blue sprinkles.

And here is Cameron with the traditional original glazed.

Rambling Roadtrip

This past week, I participated in our church's vacation bible school. The theme was "Rambling Roadtrip." We went from Washington, D.C., to Chicago, to Yellowstone National Park and ended up at Knott's Berry Farm in California. It was lots of fun and we learned about God at each stop on our trip. (Mommy watched Cameron and the other babies in the nursery.)

On Thursday night, we had a program for all of our parents. Me and all of the other kids got up and sang our two songs that we had been practicing all week. I'm in the lower left hand corner in the green shirt.

Here's a picture of me singing and watching Miss Marci. She told us what to do while we were singing.

Here I am at the end of the program. Afterwards, we picked up the crafts I made, had some lemonade and popsicles, and went home.

Happy Father's Day, Darth Tater

Here is a picture of me and Ben with Darth Tater. Darth Tater was part of Daddy's fathers day present. It's really a Mr. Potatohead dressed up like Darth Vader, so don't be scared.

Buzz Lightyear Meets the Elmo Sprinkler

It was pretty warm here in Maple Grove, Minnesota, where we live, so we decided to set up the Elmo sprinkler and run through it. I got to wear my new Buzz Lightyear swim trunks and surf shirt.

Here is a picture of me in my new swim outfit with my baby brother.

Three Men in White and Gray

Today, all of us guys dressed the same. We all had white t-shirts on and grey shorts. We all went to Mendard's and the gas station and the beer store together (Ben and I got lollipops!). Isn't that funny?

Taking Pictures of Taking Pictures

Daddy and I were out early this morning looking at our lillies that had recently bloomed when we decided to take a picture of our new garden on the side of the house. Daddy took this silly picture of me taking a picture of one of the flowers.

In case you were wondering, here's a picture of one of the lillies.

My First Baseball Game

This was the scene of my first baseball game ever. We saw the Twins take on the San Diego Padres.

Prior to the game, we had a picnic outside with lots of people that my Daddy works with. This is a picture of my brother, Ben. To the left, you can see my feet and my Mommy's feet. I was practicing walking all around the picnic area. They had door prizes at the picnic too. We won tickets to a game in September and an autographed baseball. I ate a hot dog and some watermelon and lots of cookies.

Here's a picture of me and Mommy at the game. Like my brother used to do, I ate my way through the game.

Here's a picture of my brother inside the Metrodome. I think he was actually watching the game.

Anyhow, we had a fun time. I hope to go to another game really soon.

PS: I wish I could tell you who won, but we left in the 5th inning and the game is now in the 10th inning!

Countertops!

It took a while, but we finally got our new kitchen countertops. You might recall that these are the old ones.

Then, to make room for the new countertops, we had to have a man remove the bottom row of tile from the backsplash. It was messy.

Then some other guys came and put our new counters in. Aren't they nice?

And finally today, they came and put our backsplash in. With the new sink and faucet, the kitchen projects are done. For now.

In Algona For Uncle Doug's Wedding Shower

Many of you might have been wondering where Ben and I were during the past week. Well, we went down to Algona with our Mommy to get ready for Uncle Doug's wedding shower.

On the weekend, after the shower, we all had a big dinner and went to a fun park. I had a lollipop there.

I enjoyed eating it while Grandpa Walter and I watched Ben on the play toys.

Here I am pointing up to where Ben is. He was really high up there.

See him? He was on the highest spot imaginable.

After the park, we went to Dairy Queen and then Uncle Jayson and Daddy and me and Ben went back to the farm to go to sleep. This was a picture of the sun a few hours before it set.

Cleaning Up The Kitchen

We got new countertops in our kitchen on Friday (we'll post some pictures when they're completely done -- we're waiting on a backsplash and some faucet parts), which was two days after we had a row of tile removed where the countertops will go. We had lots to clean up on Saturday, so I did my share by wiping the window sill.

Today, we still had stuff to clean up around the house, so I worked on the kitchen floor.

Ben and I rewarded ourselves for our hard work by sharing a popsicle.

My Hair Cut

We went to Kid's Hair and got my hair cut tonight. This is a picture of me showing how surprised I was that the lady cut soooo much hair off. Mommy and Daddy really need to take me more regularly.
