As Ben mentioned earlier, Grandma and Grandpa Weiner came from Michigan for Thanksgiving and Ben's birthday. Here's a photo of all of us.

Ben's 8th Birthday
I turned 8 Friday and had a small party with my grandmas and grandpas. I got a bunch of great presents. Aunt Serena, Uncle Doug and the kids got me some mini-football helmets of the Big 12. They complement my Big 10 and Iowa State helmets nicely.
I also felt compelled to actually stop and read each card aloud.
Cameron was quite helpful (and excited).
Secret agents and spies are quite popular in our house, thanks to My Sims: Agents for the Wii. Here is CLUE: Secrets and Spies edition.
Aunty Jen may have taken the cake with the Darth Vader robotic arm!
After presents, we had a Michigan football cake that Grandma and Grandpa Reemtsma brought from Algona!
It was a great birthday!
Love,
Ben

My 8th Birthday (Party)
We had my 8th birthday party earlier today. We went to see the movie Planet 51 and then we went to the California Pizza Kitchen for dessert. My guests and I had a great time!

My First Cereal
Mom and Dad decided I was old enough for cereal today. Here is my first bite!
Then I promptly removed it with my hand.
But Mom shoveled it back in.
By the end, I was annoyed with Dad for taking so many pictures. The cereal was okay.

We'll be passing out the hard copies as we see you over the upcoming holidays, but we thought you might like to see our school pictures this year.

Halloween 2009
It was Ainsley's first Halloween, so it was only right that she was the first to get ready. Here she is, our little Cinderella.
Of course, she kept wanting to eat her dress.
And here she is with her tiara!
Imagine how frustrated Daddy was after this photo sequence!
At last we headed out to trick or treat. We got lots of candy, and Mommy and Ainsley passed out a lot here.
In the end, it was a Halloween worthy of a Jedi Knight!
