Soccer!

Soccer season started in our household. We both play on Tuesday and Thursday nights, sometimes at the same time and sometimes at different times, but on opposite sides of the city! Tonight, we played relatively close to each other and at different times, so Daddy and Grandpa Walter took us so Mommy and Grandma Jan could go grocery shopping. Tigers

I forgot to show you all the tiger I made on Monday. We learned a lot about animals that we would see at the zoo, and I chose to make a tiger.

Color My World

After Cameron's field trip was my first grade music program, Color My World. We sang a lot of songs and for one song, I joined a lot of my classmates in playing drums.

My Last Pre-School Trip to Como Zoo

Today was my last pre-school field trip to Como Zoo. Because Daddy drove her home from school, my friend Becca was paired up with us. Here are some pictures of us at the zoo.





My favorite part was the penguins.


Here is where the polar bears that are vacationing in Detroit are going to go next spring.


We also saw a bison, some giraffe, zebra, lions, tigers and a baby orangutan, which was really cute.

Mother's Day at Kimberly Lane

Today at school, we had an early Mother's Day Celebration. I made a lot of nice artwork for my Mom.




We decorated the room as well.


The whole class gave a presentation.


Then, we each read a poem we picked out for our moms.

We have another new cousin! Just a few weeks after our cousin Abbi was born, Maisey Marie Bierstedt joined the clan.

My 5th Birthday Party

We had my 5th birthday party tonight at Chuck E. Cheese. It was really fun.

They had a nice table set up for us. Dad and I had VIP stickers. Dad was the Very Important Parent, and I was the Birthday Star!




We started out playing games for a bit.


Then we had some pizza.


I had a delicious Chuck E Cheese cake! It was very chocolatey.


Then the Cheese himself came out and took some pictures with us.




In the end, my crew and I had a lot of fun!
