While we were having s'mores by the fire for Cameron's birthday, Daddy and I noticed the sun was setting and went to take some of these beautiful, fun and silly pictures.
That's me in the distance, messing around in front of the setting sun.

Fun with Sunsets
My 3rd Birthday
My 3rd birthday was yesterday. We went down to Algona for Hayden's christening and Grandma Jan's retirement party, so we celebrated part of my birthday at home on Thursday. I had a bunch of presents to open.
One of my favorite presents was a Jeff Gordon remote controlled race car.
When we got to Aunt Michelle's house, Ben had Daddy hang up this Happy Birthday sign. He had been working on it all week.
He also made a lot of great Monster Truck decorations like this one.
We finished the day with a slice of Monster Truck / NASCAR cake, a lot more nice presents and some s'mores from the firepit.
Thanks to everyone for all of the great presents and birthday wishes!
Love,
Cameron

A Lot of Art
Here is a lot of art that we did at school or at church. Here is a decorated plate that I made to look like Mommy. (Ben)
Here is a friendship necklace that I made at church. (Ben)
This is a potato painting that I made at school. It is not of a potato, it was with a potato, silly. (Cameron)
We sang the peanut butter and jelly song at school on Friday (the same one from Ben's last day at Peppermint Fence last year) and then I painted this sandwich. (Cameron)
This night star has lots of little holes in it to make it look like a lot of stars. (Ben)

Really Snappy Dressers
Today after church, we came home and changed our clothes. Both of us picked out our own clothes and Mommy and Daddy thought we had excellent taste and a good ability to match colors. What do you think?

Weather Station Installation
Today, it was finally nice enough to put my weather station out in the backyard. Cameron got it for me for Christmas, so I let him be in the picture.
He wouldn't take the drum stick out of his mouth, so Daddy took a picture of just me and the weather station.

Ben

The Empty Cars Tissue Box
Today, we used the last tissue from the Cars tissue box. It was time to recycle the box, so I made Mommy take a picture of it for me.
Cameron also got in on the action, although with some other non-Cars tissue box.

Ben

The Last Show and Tell of my Preschool Career
Wednesday was the last show and tell I had at Joyful Noise. I brought my new NASCAR racers (Jimmie Johnson, Dale Jr. and Jeff Gordon) and my Daddy's Jimmie Johnson hat (autographed by Chad Knaus, his crew chief). It was really fun.
Here I am with the show and tell bag.
And here is a funny picture of me with the show and tell bag.
