The Basement Project to Date

We thought you might like to see how things are progressing in the basement, so we had Daddy take these pictures.

Here is the new guest bedroom. The walls are done, but the closet door, carpet, and lighting fixtures still need to be installed.

That'll be a custom, drop in book shelf under the stairs, next to the door.

That's the way to the closet.

Here's the shower in the bathroom. The doors are still being made.

Here's a look at the floor. That white thing is where the toilet will be attached.

Here's the "bar" flooring. There will be a big cabinet on the wall here that will house the refrigerator and dish washer (both shown below), as well as a sink and a big counter area.

Of course, all of the blue/gray carpet is also about to go as well. We hope to have things ready for Cameron's pre-school graduation!

Recycled Projects

Here I am with my project from school. I made a storm tropper blaster out of recycled materials.

And then here I am again, just looking cute.

Easter Brunch / Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!

This morning, we celebrated Easter and Mom and Dad's 12th anniversary by going to church and then having brunch at Windows on Minnesota. It's a restaurant that is on the 50th floor of the IDS Building, which is the tallest building in the Twin Cities.

We had a great view of the Metrodome and downtown St. Paul from our table.

We also got to see Capella Tower, where Daddy works (the tall one on the left side).

The new Twins stadium, Target Field, is coming along nicely.

We live somewhere out there.... there's our house!

We also took pictures to how dressed up we were. Here are the two of us.

And even though you can take us boys and put us in a classy joint, we're still boys.

Then we did the obligatory pictures with Mom and then with Dad and then as a family.

An Awesome Movie!

We saw an awesome movie last night! Maybe you've heard of it? It's called "The Sound of Music." I sat in rapture through most of it.

The Rosemary Woods Easter Egg Hunt

Our neighborhood had an Easter egg hunt today. They blocked off the cul-de-sac up the hill from us and hid eggs everywhere. Here are some scenes from the chaos.

We could only pause long enough to take a quick picture with each other...

And with the Easter Bunny, who also made an appearance.

In the end, all of the kids posed for a photo on the hill.

Light Saber Battles

One thing we have been doing over spring break is making "movies" of our Star Wars figures having light saber battles.

Spring Break Silliness

We have been on spring break for the past few weeks, and were visiting Algona during most of it. Here are a few silly pictures of us as we get back into the routine.

Rainforest Week

We learned about the rain forest at school this week, when members of the Science Museum of Minnesota came and talked about animals in the rain forest. I made this toucan and this monkey.

Three Musicians

I made my own version of Pablo Picasso's Three Musicians in art. What do you think of it?

Channel 12 Tour

I had a field trip where we toured Channel 12. It was really neat. Mom chaperoned the field trip with us. We learned all about how a TV station works.

We got to sit behind the news anchor desk.

We also got to learn about the green screen.

And I even made a funny face as a news anchor.

Cousin Time

One of the fun things of being down on the farm is that we get to play with our cousins. Here we are with Natalee and Hayden on Emmitt's bench.

Here we are playing with Hayden and Emmitt.

And here is Ben lounging with Hayden and Emmitt.

"The Look"

Our cousin Hayden has perfected "the look" and she can turn it on and off whenever she wants. We think it's hilarious!

Emmitt's Birthday Party

You might recall that our cousin Emmitt came to the United States a few days before his 1st birthday. Aunt Michelle and Uncle Jayson decided to wait to have his birthday party until this weekend.

Here are some cute pictures of Emmitt before the party.

Here he is in his party attire.

Here he is going to town on his cake.

Here is Emmitt opening presents.
