Outdoor Ed: Winter Edition

Dad came to my outdoor education class and took these pictures of our class and our creations.  We got to walk on the pond, which was pretty cool.  Next time, it'll be April and we'll have to stay on the dock.

Destination Imagination

I have been working with my Destination Imagination team for the past several months.  We called ourselves "The Mind Reading Gummi Bears."  We didn't win the competition to make it to the state finals, but we did pretty good for a 3rd grade team.

Swarmin' for My Birthday

We always seem to wait until February to celebrate my November birthday.  There's just more stuff going on that is not holiday related in February.  This year was no exception.  I took some friends to see the Minnesota Swarm play the Edmonton Rush.

It was a double header with the Minnesota Roller Girls.  We met some of the girls before the Swarm game.

The Swarm play at the Xcel Energy Center, where the Wild play in the NHL.

Unfortunately, the Swarm lost the game and we couldn't stay for the whole roller derby.  It was still a great night!

5th Grade Ski Trip

Card Marking Day at MOA

Muskrat Hunting

You might recall that I saw some muskrats swimming in a lake at a park near our house last fall.  Daddy and I went to see how the muskrats were doing this winter.  All we saw were tracks - no muskrats.
